Battery Systems Episode 05
10 Jul, 2020
In this 5-minute video we sketch out the relationship between your home, solar panels, the inverter, and the battery.
- How does a battery system work?
- Is my system/inverter battery ready?
- The grid and backup power
- What size battery should you install?
We take a special look at backup power: just because a home has a battery system doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be without power when the grid goes down.
Backup power is an optional extra on some battery systems, in which case you need to be savvy with what type of backup you’re paying for. EPS or UPS? We map out the significance of these two acronyms.
As usual, if you still have questions we’re only a phone call away!
